The Habsburgs were not only indigenous black Europeans with roots stretching back to very remote antiquity, they were also the most powerful dynastic rulers in European history. In the 16th century, the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V was the head of the Habsburg dynasty, and his son, Philip II, became the King of Spain. Yes, inbreeding resulted in the madness of Charles V's mother, Queen Joana the Mad---as well as the Habsburg Jaw (the prognathism) from which many Habsburgs suffered.
Not quite. The black lineage that the Habsburgs can claim is through the Portuguese de Sousa family, and even they have to go back quite a ways back (most likely into the days of the Moorish invasions). I do not like this new trend of implying all Europeans have recent African ancestry so as to prove some...point...we all came from Africa. I'm not necessarily accusing you of it...but it kinda smells to me...yeah, they were NOT indigenous black Europeans. Also, the artist the Habsburgs patronized tended to paint them in African styles with darker skin. I don't know why, but here is the link: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/secret/famous/royalfamily.html
I was reading about the Mammoth 🦣 being brought back to existence. They said inbreeding was a result of extinction. The Habsburg Jaw was used as an example. I googled it to see what that looked like and here I am. Interesting how it led to the end of the world. If it isn’t dramatic, it’s not worth the read. Great article
The picture of the man is a bad photo shop job but the inbreeding jaw story is true.
It’s a YouTuber named MsNaz with the jaw and she is Jamaican.
that picture of the author looks so fucking fake
